Castile Soap

Castile soap can strip the color off of color treated hair, so no, it's not considered safe for colored hair.  For this same reason, you should always spot test fabrics in an inconspicuous area before treating stains with Castile soap.

Yes!  Castile soap should have no artificial fillers or thickeners, so while it appears to be thin, it's actually very concentrated.  A little goes a long way, so dilute, dilute, dilute!

Yes, but cut the amount in half.

"I buy the castille liquid base (unscented) and add water, hydrosol, aloe, and essential oils to it. Eventually there’s a bit of separation (cloudy on the bottom and clear on the top). Do you have any clue why this is happening or how I can correct this?"
